At the St. Jude Tournament, Brian Gay was able to take the title on Sunday. He’s going great guns and has won several tournaments this year. Before this year, he wasn’t all that well known, but he seems to be headed in the right direction! It’s possible that he will be on his way to the US Open in the next few weeks and possibly in several other high profile competitions as well. It’s a little surprising that his story became a big part of the news, despite all the other background stories going on with John Daley and Phil Mickelson reentering the competition. But Gay was ahead of the pack from the beginning to the end, playing a very consistent game and he made it to the end!
