Victory!

The US Ryder Cup team wasn’t supposed to win this year. They were supposed to get taken down by a much more experienced and practiced team from Europe. But they were able to take their game up a level and they won this year. They had not won the competition since 1999. And this year’s margin of victory, 5 points, was the largest since the 1980s. The players, many of them rookies, were heard to say how excited they were and how big a deal they believe it to be! They were very excited and hope to continue winning it next year and beyond. The team has gotten closer and works very well together now; they are really a team, rather than just a bunch of individual players coming together. Congratulations Ryder Cup team!
