Vaughan claims the Senior British Open trophy

Bruce Vaughan had to hit a 20 foot putt in the first playoff hole against John Cook to claim the first title of his career, the senior British Open, on Sunday. This is the major PGA victory of his golfing career and Vaughan is thrilled to bits on achieving it. He says that he will be treasuring this first major victory for the rest of his life and will be trying his hand out in many more senior championships. Vaughan had enjoyed playing at Royal Troon in Scotland and this victory gives him a direct entry for next year’s British Open.
