The 90th PGA Championship, Aug. 4-10, at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township, Mich., marks the sixth visit of the season’s final major to the state of Michigan. 35-year-old PGA Professional Dan Rooney delievered a perfect pitch at Wrigley Field on Thursday on behalf of the Chicago Cubs. While this was perfect, the pitch he made off the mound later was even more so. He is the founder of Patriot Golf Day and the Folds of Honor Foundation, and will serve his country by making his third round at Iraq as an F-16 fighter pilot. This event was part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming second annual Patriot Golf Day. Kerry Perry came up with a superlative performance to win the Buick Open by a stroke at 19 under for the second time in his golfing career. He is very much excited about winning the Buick Open and is very much happy that his prospects to play for his country in the Ryder Cup are very bright. Perry has won the Buick Open at Warwick Hills during its 50^th anniversary and feels good about his name being talked about along with the likes of Tiger Woods and Mickelson.
