Women’s play golf American day attended by 500 women.

There were over 500 attendees who came to watch the women golfers perform at the women’s play golf American day that was on March 30. The day commemorates the contribution of women in the growth of golf. Officials said that the turnout has exceeded their expectation and they are hopeful that the number of attendees would be even more in the next women’s play golf America day.

 20 professionals introduced the game to a gathering of women. It gave them a good exposure of the game. Rick Martino, PGA director of instruction gave instructions of putting, full swing as well as chipping in a free clinic. The clinic made the attendees aware that they had to understand the instructions of the professionals properly. Callaway golf provided a demonstration area to the team. It also offered the latest products that it had including a range of Big Bertha i-brid irons and FT-i driver. Many women golfers were present including Janet Ortega, Suzy Whaley, Erika Larkin, Le Ann Finger, Stephanie Jennings, and Julie Peluso.
