Since 1916, PGA has been a boom to the world of Golf. PGA is the World’s Largest Sports Organization with more than eighty-nine PGA championships in different states of America.
Golf is a premier sport event in many countries and Tiger Woods is the international golfer who certainly rules the Golf world. He has won tremendous 62 championships and is the fifth youngest player. His New Year success seems to be boding and promising for this year’s championships. He has won his fourth consecutive victory at the Buick Invitational in California. Tiger Woods had cruised to a nine shot victory and won 5.2 million-dollars. Woods conventionally maintained the clear lead in round 67, 65 and 66 in the opening three rounds for the next day. Even his worst round earlier with one-under par 71 and his overnight victory was astonishing for other fellow players. But Woods is not satisfied from his final round 71 in which he carded five birdies and four bogeys. He said that he has done half right but he wanted to shoot an under-par round without bogeys. Ryuji Imada of Japan was placed at second position at eleven under. While Rori Sabbintini of South Africa and Stewart Cink of America were tied at third position at nine-under.

Tiger Woods makes his 2008 PGA Tour debut at the Buick Invitational this weekend in sunny San Diego. Torrey Pines Golf and Country Club plays host to the real beginning of the PGA season with the Pacific Ocean as a gorgeous backdrop. This will be sneak peek preview for the U.S. Open, which will also be hosted by Torrey Pines. That being said, do not forget to take the weather in to consideration. Torrey Pines is rarely played in the winter. And I don’t care that it’s in California. The climate is different in January than it will be in June, so factor that in when you’re studying the lay of the land. The big hole to watch out for is sixth hole, which has been converted from a manageable par-5 to a terrifying par-4.
